Encaustic Paintings

These works are inspired by my love of nature and landscape. Entrancing surfaces are created with beeswax, oil and gold leaf. Transparent and opaque textured layers create a subtle contrast. Compositional elements are carved into many of the works. Many of these works were shown at Square One Gallery in Claremont and/or La Gitana Gallery in San Fernando 2012-2013.
